Welcome

Welcome

Welcome to The Dales Website. The Darndale Belcamp Drug Awareness Project was set up in 2002 by the local community to help families and individuals who were caught up in addiction and all the problems that go with that.

In 2006 we changed our name to the Dales. We have a voluntary board of Directors who are responsible for ensuring that the Dales operates to the highest levels of good practice and governance. This includes being fully compliant with the Charities Regulatory Authority.

Throughout the Dales Website, you will find information on the range of services that are provided for people looking for support in relation to drugs or alcohol use. As a starting point, we operate a “Drop-In” service five mornings a week for individuals effected by drug or alcohol use. Feel free to call into our service for a cup of tea or coffee and a talk with our welcoming and supportive staff. No appointment is necessary.

The Dales are funded by the Dublin North East Drug and Alcohol Task Force and the HSE Addiction Services. We are very grateful to have them for their ongoing support of the Dales over the last 15 years.
